Jijig Galnash

This recipe is a simplified version of the original Jijig Galnash. As it takes up a lot of time preparing the dumpling and meat, I decided to substitute macaroni for dumpling and chicken for beef. Great dish, go try!

Jijig Galnash
1/2 chicken
6 cups water
2 cups macaroni
2 cloves garlic
salt

For the chicken:
Boil chicken with salt and water until chicken is tender. Remove chicken from pot.

For the macaroni:
Using the same chicken broth, boil macaroni until they are al dente. Strain. Keep aside the broth.

To make garlic sauce:
Pound garlic into paste if you have pestle and mortar. Otherwise, chop garlic. Put in a small bowl and pour about 1/4 cup of chicken broth. Stir well.

To serve:
Serve boiled chicken, macaroni, chicken broth and garlic sauce separately. Drink chicken broth; dip chicken and macaroni into garlic sauce. Enjoy.
